Accidents can happen any time. As an eligible employee, you can buy Anthem Accident Insurance to help pay for expenses related to unexpected accidents and injuries. Accident insurance pays in addition to your medical plan and benefits are payable regardless of any other insurance plans.<\/p>\n

The benefit amount is determined by the injury and medical care received and paid in a lump sum amount. No health questions are required, but a pre-existing condition clause may apply. Employees are responsible for the cost of this benefit, and you may sign up for coverage for yourself, your spouse, and your children.<\/p>\n

Critical Illness Insurance<\/h2>\n

Are you protected if you experience a critical illness? As an eligible employee, you can buy Anthem Critical Illness Insurance to help pay for expenses related to the diagnosis of a critical illness such as a heart attack, coma, kidney failure, or cancer. Critical Illness Insurance pays in addition to your medical plan and benefits are payable regardless of any other insurance plans.<\/p>\n

The benefit amount is determined by the type of illness and is paid in a lump sum amount. No health questions are required, but a pre-existing condition clause may apply. Employees are responsible for the cost of this benefit. Coverage is available for employees, spouses, and their children.<\/p>\n

Note: You can earn a $50 health screening benefit through this insurance when you get preventive tests like mammograms, colonoscopies, or fasting blood glucose tests.<\/p>\n

Hospital Indemnity Insurance<\/h2>\n

An unexpected hospital stay can be expensive, even with medical insurance. As an eligible employee, you can buy Anthem Hospital Indemnity insurance to help pay for expenses and bills related to being admitted in a hospital. Benefits are paid directly to you and the funds can be used as you see fit.<\/p>\n
